This was one of those shots I took on impulse and didn't think it turned out very well. I looked at it later and it kind of grew on me.
It wasn't raining at the time the shot was taken but the way she is standing in the door looking outside made think of a rainy day.
It made me remember being a really little kid, looking outside; wanting to go out play but it was raining. I remember feeling kind of sad because I wanted to out and play but strangely kind of happy because I love rain. So, it evokes kind of a strange memory but a sentential one none the less.
When I sit and look at it I can almost hear the rain falling, feel the cool air and I want to go play in the rain again. It’s funny how visual images can do that some times.
Thank you. It's another one that just happened. I haven't been doing this long. However, I have found shots like this pop up when you're not expecting them. Most times they don't look like they're going to be good until you sit down and look at them later. Then for some reason they just jump out at you.
